If you’re experiencing issues with sound not playing in your game, try the following steps to resolve the problem.

Step 1: Check Your Device Volume Settings

  • Adjust Media Volume:
    1. Press the volume up button on your device.
    2. Ensure the media volume slider (not ringtone or notifications) is turned up.
  • Mute Mode:
    • Ensure your device is not in silent or do-not-disturb mode.

Step 2: Check Sound Settings Within the Game

  1. Open the game’s settings menu (usually found in the main menu).
  2. Ensure that both sound effects and music options are turned on.

Step 3: Restart the Game

  1. Close the game completely from the recent apps list.
  2. Reopen the game and check if the sound works.

Step 4: Restart Your Device

Turn your device off, wait for a few seconds, and turn it back on. This refreshes the system and may resolve temporary sound issues.

Step 5: Clear the Game’s Cache

  1. Open your device’s Settings.
  2. Tap Apps or Applications.
  3. Find and select the game.
  4. Tap Storage and select Clear Cache.
  5. Reopen the game and check if the sound works.

Step 6: Check for Updates

  • Update the Game: Go to the Google Play Store, search for the game, and check for updates.
  • Update Your Device: Open Settings > System > System Updates and ensure your Android OS is up to date.

Step 7: Disconnect Bluetooth Devices

If a Bluetooth headset or speaker is connected, the sound may be routed to that device. Disconnect or disable Bluetooth and check the game’s sound.

If it's still unsuccessful, open another app and check the sound there. If it does not work in the other app, the issue seems device related. Should you hear sound in another app, contact GameHouse Support through the app or our support page. Provide details about your device model, Android version, and the issue for quicker resolution.
